Readings
Confessions, reflections, and pieces of my story.
They may not be long enough, structured enough, or flawless enough. But one thing they all are: honest enough to be heard.
Some are about struggle.
Some are about hustle.
Some are about starting again.
Some are simply words I needed to let out.
These are part of my journey through fitness, womanhood, reinvention, self-worth, and the private moments we often carry alone.
Read them slowly.
Take what speaks to you.
Leave what does not.
Hello?
I’m speaking, but no one can hear.
My words are honest, but they’re not clear.
I grab a pen and I try again.
But the words are no more than ten.
I’m speaking, but no one can hear.
It’s getting louder, I feel it here.
My lungs
are full of air.
But my hopes
are short on breath.
I’m speaking, but no one can hear.
I can’t trust my own ideas.
Hello?
Don't. Think About The Time.
Wake up early.
Manifest.
Meditate.
Move your body.
Take a cold shower.
Hydrate.
Make your bed,
eat your eggs.
Stick the eye patches on your face.
Wait,
don’t touch your phone yet.
Not before gratitude.
Not before journaling.
Not before your endless to-do list kicks in,
because your goals have ghosts.
And my life is work,
but I love what I do,
so it’s okay.
They say.
So what does balance even mean?
To me,
it’s just one more task.
One more tick on a never-ending list.
Another expectation
in a life already built on pressure and purpose.
Wake up early,
but don’t touch your phone.
Hydrate,
but don’t eat.
Breathe deeply,
but hold it.
Set goals,
but stay grounded.
Chase dreams,
but don’t be too ambitious.
And whatever you do,
think about the time.
Don’t.
Think about the time.
I'm Still Here
When I walk,
I’m always seen.
When I talk,
they don’t often hear.
When this happens,
I disappear.
For my friends,
I’m not here.
But from inside,
I can still hear.
I’ve got accomplishments,
so it’s clear.
My voice is hidden.
My body is here.
My poem is simple.
It’s soft.
It’s clear.
It’s about my story,
my journey,
my fear.
It’s not a sport,
but it’s wild,
you bet.
So pack your thoughts,
and let them travel.
You will find depth.
